Attorney General Investigators Arrest Kootenai County Man for Alleged Sexual Exploitation of a Child

(Boise) – Attorney General Lawrence Wasden has announced investigators with his Idaho Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Unit arrested a Coeur d’Alene man Wednesday for alleged Sexual Exploitation of a Child.

42-year-old Brett Ayotte was booked into the Kootenai County Jail.

The ICAC Unit was assisted by the FBI, U.S. Marshals Service, Coeur d’Alene Police Department and Kootenai County Prosecutor’s Office.

The Attorney General’s ICAC Unit works with the Idaho ICAC Task Force, a coalition of federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies, to investigate and prosecute individuals who use the internet to criminally exploit children.
